The moment I saw this view I was in a true state of exhilaration...my eyes could not believe so much beauty...I could feel it so intensely inside my being...I needed to capture it fully and entirely and keep it in memory for generations.
The intention with this frame was clear...to make the triangular peak of this mighty iceberg the center of the frame and allow its shape to flow naturally to the top left and right corners.
The second goal was to capture this scene right from above the iceberg to give a tremendous sense of depth and magnitude, something to truly impact the eyes and shake the soul. It will definitely make a statement in any room.
Finally, I wanted to also give prominence to gorgeous blue and aqua tones of the water and show that the beauty of the iceberg goes deep underneath the surface...
The final result is an almost surreal scene that is bright but also colorful. It is a true testament to the beauty that awaits in the land of the mighty icebergs...the land where you can still experience a glimpse of the Ice Age...
